BEKKO
(beh-KOH)

Bekko are koi that have a base color of white (shiro),
orangish-red (aka), or yellow (ki) with "windows" of
black (sumi) markings on the white base. The black
color markings of Bekko and Sanke are a shiny blue
and black India Ink color, different than the black
on Showas and Utsuris. They are often mistaken for
Utsuri, which are black koi with a white pattern.
