Kohaku are white koi with a red (Hi) pattern.

SOME VARIETIES OF KOHAKU

Tancho Kohaku
A white koi with a red spot on the head only.

Maruten Kohaku
Has a separate red spot on the head along with other Hi
markings on the body.

Goten-zakura Kohaku
Has a pattern more commonly known as a cherry-blossom pattern.
The red (Hi) is a dappled and looks like clusters of grapes.

Nidan Kohaku
A Kohaku with two Hi markings.

Sandan Kohaku
A Kohaku with three Hi markings.

Yondan Kohaku
A Kohaku with four Hi markings.
